Description Alliance 354 Radial R1-W
Released by one of the leading manufacturers of special-purpose tires, the Alliance 354 Radial R1-W model is designed for installation on the rear axles of a very wide range of modern high-power tractor equipment. The wide applicability of this model is indicated by its size - IF480/80R50.
Like most models in this category, this tire is equipped with a tread with a V-shaped directional pattern design. Compared to agricultural tires of the standard RI category, this model has a category IF tread, which has a 20% increased pattern depth. The tire's tread consists of massive rectangular blocks of great length, the edges of which have a curved shape. At the same time, the blocks are arranged at an angle of 45 degrees relative to the direction of movement, which, in combination with the curved shape of the tread blocks, provides excellent traction and adhesion characteristics when moving on loose and unstable soils.
One of the key features of the new agricultural tire is the elastic construction of the sidewalls. Soft sidewalls allow increasing the contact patch area, which reduces pressure on the soil. The ultimate result of this solution is a reduction in soil damage caused by tractor equipment. Currently, reducing soil damage caused by tires is a rather urgent task, given that the weight of tractors is increasing every year.
When developing the rubber compound composition, the harsh operating conditions of agricultural equipment were taken into account. As a result, the rubber compound made the tread not only very durable but also resistant to punctures and cuts. Additionally, the tread's wear resistance has been significantly improved, which has increased the tire's service life.
Main features of Alliance 354 Radial R1-W
- The adapted V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern provides reliable traction in any conditions, suitable for loose and unstable soils;
- A 20% increase in tread pattern depth allows the tire to move more confidently off-road;
- Multiple massive and long tread blocks with elliptical-shaped edges, arranged at an angle of 45 degrees relative to the direction of movement, allow the tire to handle very high torque of tractor engines without slipping;
- Flexible sidewalls significantly reduce soil damage caused by tires.
