The summer tire Aeolus AL01 Trance Ace has become another novelty of the Chinese company, which previously engaged in the development and production of exclusively cargo tires. The key feature of this model is its purpose. It is designed for light commercial vehicles, operated predominantly on roads with asphalt pavement. Its size range covers types with a landing diameter from 14 to 16 inches, which implies excellent applicability of this tire to most modern minivans and light trucks.
Long service life
In the development of this model, the company's specialists paid great attention to ensuring high economic efficiency. One of the means of achieving this goal was to give the tire high resistance to uneven wear. That is why the shoulder areas of the tread have massive dimensions and a special profile. This combination allowed for a significant improvement in the even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch, which took on a practically rectangular shape, which had a beneficial effect on handling.
Another factor that ensured the Aeolus AL01 tire a long service life was the rubber compound. Thanks to the inclusion of special components in its composition, the tread became much more effective in resisting abrasive wear.
Two longitudinal ribs in the center
The central part of the tread is occupied by two longitudinal ribs, devoid of any breaks throughout their length. This technical solution allowed for a significant improvement in the area of the contact patch and the even distribution of external load on it. At the same time, the company's specialists managed to level out the absence of separate blocks in this part of the tread. Their functions are performed by the zigzag edges of the longitudinal ribs, forming a sufficient number of engagement edges.
