The summer passenger tire Aeolus AG01 is one of the novelties of the Chinese company, which previously specialized in the production of tires exclusively for trucks. This model is distinguished by excellent traction on a wet surface and a very long service life.

Double rib in the central part

In the very center of the Aeolus AG01 tread, Chinese specialists have placed a longitudinal rib, dividing it at the same time into two "halves" with a wide drainage groove. This was done with the aim of providing not only excellent directional stability but also increased resistance to aquaplaning.

This solution led to certain changes in the V-shaped tread pattern. Due to the small thickness of both "halves" of the central rib, the blocks of the two longitudinal ribs had to be "moved" almost closely, increasing their size at the same time. As a result, it was possible to significantly increase the contact patch area, which in turn had a very positive effect on the traction properties when driving on dry roads.

Soft ride

On the go, the tire is distinguished by excellent driving comfort, most of which is provided by special grooves in the blocks located in the central part of the tread. When in contact with the road surface, they allow the blocks to more closely fit the irregularities, ensuring a smoother ride. In addition, these grooves, when opened, significantly increase the size of the contact patch, making the grip with the road more reliable. Similar elements are present on the surface of the blocks in the shoulder zones of the tread.

Increased stability in turns

In order to provide increased stability when making sharp maneuvers, the company's specialists introduced certain technical solutions that mainly affected the structure of the shoulder zones of the tread. They were equipped with massive rectangular blocks. Due to their large size, the tire is distinguished by excellent stability when cornering.
