Achilles Winter 101

Achilles Winter 101 – a winter friction tire from an Indonesian manufacturer that can be installed on a wide range of passenger cars. It is designed for areas with a "European-type" winter. In these conditions, it provides stability of driving characteristics, protection against aquaplaning and slaloming.

The basis of the tread is formed by numerous block structures, shaped into separate "ribs". On the one hand, this allowed to improve the manageability of the vehicle, making its behavior as predictable as possible. And on the other hand, it increased the efficiency of traction properties, including on icy roads. An important structural component of the tread is three-dimensional lamellas with different directions. They form a multitude of micro-hooks that securely fix the tire on a slippery road, minimizing skidding. Large blocks in the shoulder area, also equipped with lamellas, increase the passability on loose snow.

The compound of the model is developed specifically for various temperature modes. Therefore, it is able to maintain its elasticity in various weather conditions, guaranteeing stability of working characteristics.
