Accelera Phi 2

The summer tire Accelera Phi 2 is installed on most modern passenger cars, providing confident handling at any speed mode, a long service life, and effective protection against hydroplaning.

The model belongs to the ultra-high-performance tires that can be installed on cars with powerful engines. To ensure stable properties at high speeds, an asymmetric tread pattern was applied to the model. It features wide shoulder zones with deep semi-grooves. This design, on the one hand, increases stability during maneuvers, and on the other hand, improves traction properties on roads with poor surface quality. Among the ribs of the central part, there is also one solid element of increased stiffness. Its task is to provide quickness and accuracy of maneuvering. Several ring-shaped ribs with lateral notches contribute to directional stability and also suppress the formation of noise effects. The result is acoustic comfort even at high speeds.

An important feature of the model is the special compound. Its composition is selected in such a way as to reduce softening at high temperatures, ensuring the duration of the operational period. In addition, the mixture contributes to reducing rolling resistance and also effectively maintains traction, including on wet asphalt.
