XCMG XB404 belongs to the "industrial" OTR line of the brand and is designed for use on construction, road, and loading/unloading equipment. In the model range, the tire occupies an intermediate position between lighter universal tires and heavy quarry solutions, combining increased strength with more balanced running characteristics. It is oriented towards more severe operating conditions and has a reinforced carcass and a deeper tread. The model offers a more universal balance between strength and ride smoothness, making it suitable for mixed construction tasks.
Traction properties and coating work
The tread is made with massive blocks, arranged with a calculation for confident grip when moving under load. Open inter-block zones contribute to effective self-cleaning from soil and small stones, maintaining stable traction characteristics when working on wet and loose surfaces. Compared to younger models in the series, the pattern has an increased depth and more pronounced working edges, which reduces the risk of skidding and improves equipment control during maneuvers.
Design and safety margin
The carcass is reinforced and designed for significant static and dynamic loads characteristic of construction sites and warehouse areas with a heavy operating mode. Rigid sidewalls increase resistance to cuts and impacts, as well as ensure the preservation of the tire's shape during prolonged operation.
