Volex L3 is a highly specialized model designed for front loaders, excavator-loaders, and other equipment. It provides a balance between load capacity and maneuverability on any type of surface.
Tread pattern and its specifications
Engineers have applied a massive tread pattern with central blocks featuring a Z-shaped configuration in this model. This geometry of the tread edges solves two problems at once:
- large elements work as a single platform, evenly distributing the pressure from the heavy loader. This is critical for maintaining the carrying capacity on loose soils;
- blocks in the shoulder area act not as a passive element, but as active amplifiers of the contact patch. When turning or moving on unevenness, they are engaged in work, preventing "digging" into soft soil and increasing the support area.
Chemical structure
The compound deserves special attention. It is an elastomeric matrix with double reinforcement. Polymer additives are introduced into the composition, which increase the modulus of elasticity of the rubber. This gives the tire high resistance to wear, as well as protects the sidewalls and tread from cuts. The second component of the mixture works at the micro level, enhancing the molecular adhesion of the rubber to the surface. This improves the "grip" on the ground, which is especially noticeable on wet or clay soils.
Structural strength reserve
The carcass is designed with a multi-layer breaker system, which allows it to withstand high impact loads that are inevitable when working on a construction site. The reinforced sidewall minimizes the risk of diagonal tears, and the special design of the bead ensures a tight fit on the wheel rim even with sharp maneuvers and a fully loaded bucket.
Key features of Volex L3:
- equally effective on both hard surfaces and weak soils, making it an ideal choice for mixed-use loaders;
- the load index and carcass design are calculated for heavy front loaders, providing a strength reserve;
- the high-strength sidewall and specific tread pattern composition guarantee resistance to punctures, cuts, and tears;
- thanks to the Z-shaped geometry and special additives in the compound, the tire demonstrates excellent directional stability and a minimal braking distance.
