Description Triangle TB516S T2
Triangle TB516S T2 is designed for quarry dump trucks with a rigid frame. In the lineup, it is positioned between the T1 and T3 versions, differing in the composition and characteristics of the rubber compound, combining high resistance to wear with effective protection against cuts and chips. Thanks to this, the model is suitable for operation on rocky soils, including technological roads, and is designed for prolonged intensive operation under high weight loads.
Enhanced protection in harsh conditions
One of the key features is the tread, the shoulder areas of which "extend" to the sidewalls. This design significantly reduces the risk of damage when contacting sharp rock edges and reduces the likelihood of cuts in the most vulnerable areas. Additional protection is provided by a robust radial carcass, designed for intensive operation with a fully loaded dump truck.
Tread for high traction and stability
Most of the tread area is occupied by massive blocks with elongated transverse walls, which allows the tire to confidently transmit traction force, and due to the inclination of the working edges, it maintains stability when moving on compacted gravel, rocky terrain, and dense soil. The arrangement of tread elements improves the stability of traction properties during longitudinal accelerations and maneuvering of heavy equipment.
Compound T2 as a universal solution
Here, the T2 rubber compound is applied, developed as a compromise between resistance to abrasive wear and resistance to mechanical damage. This composition is well suited for most quarries, where operating conditions involve frequent contact with sharp rock edges and prolonged movement at high speeds under heavy loads. As a result, the tire retains its operational characteristics longer, allowing for reduced maintenance and wheel replacement costs without compromising reliability.
Key features of Triangle TB516S T2:
- the increased depth of the E4 class tread significantly increases the tire's service life during intensive operation in quarries;
- the "extending" shoulder blocks to the sidewalls and their increased thickness reduce the risk of damage when working on rocky areas;
- the universal T2 compound combines resistance to wear with effective resistance to cuts and chips;
- the radial carcass construction supports the stability of the heavy dump truck under high load and promotes even pressure distribution in the contact patch.
