Description Top trust SH-317
The Top trust SH-317 tyre is designed for special-purpose machinery. Its tread features large, slanted lugs with wide bases and open gaps at the shoulders. The main characteristic of this tread pattern is the combination of traction edges for operation on soil with a dense supporting area in the central part of the tread.
Extended traction edges
Massive lugs are oriented from the centre towards the edges of the tread. Their long edges penetrate the ground at an angle, providing support for transmitting driving and braking forces. The working elements cover a significant portion of the tyre width, so engagement with the ground involves not only the central tread path. This design is beneficial on loose terrain and when travelling over uneven work surfaces.
Open shoulder zones
Gaps between the lugs widen towards the sidewall edges. They allow space for soil and mud to be expelled during wheel rotation, helping the tread maintain its working profile. The pronounced edges of the shoulder elements provide additional surface contact when load shifts towards the side areas of the tread. This is important when manoeuvring on uneven surfaces.
Robust support under load
In the center, the inner parts of the lugs are positioned close together and form a dense sequence of support areas. Wide bases limit the movement of tall elements when transmitting forces. The tread combines this support in the central zone with a more open pattern at the edges, where traction and self-cleaning from soil are required.
Key features of Top trust SH-317
- large inclined lugs for transmitting traction on soil;
- long working edges across the tread width;
- open shoulder channels for mud and soil evacuation;
- wide element bases that support the pattern under load;
- closely spaced lugs in the central area.
