Superguider SKS-4 – tyre for fork lift trucks, skid-steer loaders, and compact front loaders that operate in a mode of frequent manoeuvres, reverse movements, and contact with abrasive warehouse surfaces. The production base in China provides an optimal ratio of production costs and technological equipment, allowing for the implementation of reinforced carcass solutions without increasing the product cost.
Steering stability against skidding
The open, multi-block tread pattern is designed according to the principle of "chaoticness", where a multitude of independent traction elements create the effect of multiple contact points. Such topology is important for mini loaders, as their front axle experiences sharp changes in traction when lifting a load and turning on the spot. The deep and wide drainage grooves perform not only a water-draining function but also act as "stone catchers". Their special cross-section guarantees that solid elements do not jam between the blocks and freely fall out when the contact area is deformed. This prevents abrasive wear of the groove bottom and extends the tread life.
Fighting deformation
The main feature is a two-layer breaker belt with reinforced steel cord. Such a design is intended to withstand twisting and bending. The side zones are not just thickened, they have a special ribbed structure that reduces the risk of cuts. This design solution allows maintaining the profile geometry even during prolonged static storage under load.
Thermoplastic balance
The rubber compound is developed according to a formula adapted to climate fluctuations. Its basis is a combination of natural and synthetic rubber with the addition of special plasticizers. The latter maintain elasticity at negative temperatures and prevent excessive viscosity during summer heating. Such universality allows for year-round use of the equipment.
