Description Speedways Flotation King
Speedways Flotation King — a specialized tyre designed for operation on waterlogged, loose, and weak soils. Its main task is not just to move equipment, but to preserve the soil structure, preventing deep rut formation and over-compaction. That's why engineers chose a diagonal construction with a wide profile and optimal curvature of the tread.
Increased durability
The tyre is built on a reinforced diagonal carcass with 16 layers of cord. This solution provides exceptional resistance to punctures, cuts, and tears. The crosswise arrangement of the cord threads gives the sidewalls additional stiffness, preventing their deformation during full-load manoeuvres, and also guarantees the stability of the contact patch geometry.
Aggressive traction and self-cleaning
The tread is designed with optimized lug geometry and increased tread depth, providing a dual benefit:
- maximum traction force — massive blocks with aggressive gripping edges are effectively embedded in loose and wet soils, ensuring confident movement;
- self-cleaning — a wide drainage network between the blocks actively ejects stuck mud, maintaining gripping properties.
The tread pattern is optimised for a smooth ride — the blocks are arranged with a variable pitch, which reduces vibrations and makes the movement more comfortable.
Rubber compound
Key feature — a specially developed compound, enriched with high-quality natural rubber and special plasticizers. This composition retains elasticity in a range from -30 to +50 C.
Main features of the Speedways Flotation King:
- designed for agricultural and special equipment operating on wet, loose and low-bearing soils;
- an enhanced construction with 16 layers of high-strength cord provides a high load-carrying capacity, resistance to punctures and cuts;
- massive tread lugs and wide drainage grooves guarantee optimised traction and effective self-cleaning;
- compound based on natural rubber with the addition of plasticizers retains elasticity, both at high temperatures and during light frosts.
