Description Nortec TS-16
The special tire Nortec TS-16 is used on compact tractors and other compact equipment, predominantly used on soils with medium and low bearing capacity. In such conditions, it stands out for its high traction properties and directional stability, reduced rolling resistance, and good ride smoothness.
The tread pattern is a combination of narrow blocks with elongated, curved walls at a relatively small radius. Such elements provide excellent traction on viscous, waterlogged soils. The large voids between them allow the tread to remain unclogged with soil particles, maintaining high cross-country ability in such conditions. It is also worth noting the pointed profile of the block edges, which allows them to penetrate deeper into the soil, increasing adhesion to it. Another feature is the use of a reinforced carcass, which is a 10-layer cord, distinguished by high mechanical strength, but having sufficient elasticity. This significantly expands the scope of application of the tire, as well as provides it with reliability and ride smoothness on uneven terrain.
Main features of Nortec TS-16
- curved walls of blocks under a small radius improve traction properties and stability on soil cover;
- significant voids between tread elements allow the tire to intensively self-clean from soil particles, maintaining high cross-country ability on waterlogged earth and sandy surfaces;
- optimized carcass, which has increased mechanical strength, but is also sufficiently elastic to provide a smooth ride
