Super-Deep Tread
The L-5 tread pattern in the international classification means the maximum depth of lugs (up to 50-60 mm depending on the size). From a production point of view:
- the shape of the blocks is massive, with an increased amount of rubber between the grooves. This directly increases the resource until replacement;
- the angle of inclination of the lugs is designed for self-cleaning of loose material — sand, gravel crumb or small rubble do not get stuck in the grooves.
Fighting Abrasive Wear
The main enemy of tires in quarries and construction sites is not loads, but abrasive wear. The compound is developed using the technology of highly filled mixtures. Special polymeric modifiers that reduce the coefficient of friction on a sandy-gravel mixture are also added to it.
Carcass Design and Cut Resistance
For mini-loaders and excavators, high lateral loads are characteristic when turning with a filled bucket. The pneumatic tire has a reinforced breaker that resists punctures and delamination. And also a wide rim strip with increased stiffness — prevents the tire from jumping off the rim when working in a quarry at low pressure.
