Description Michelin Xtra Load Grip B E4
The special Michelin Xtra Load Grip B E4 tire is used in quarry trucks operated in open-pit mining. It is characterized by increased traction and stability on loose soils, increased load-carrying capacity and resistance to damage, smooth ride and increased mileage.
The tread pattern consists of blocks with an increased number of gripping edges due to their polygonal shape. This design provides reliable traction and coupling properties, primarily on unstable ground surfaces. The large width of the grooves between the elements allows the tread to intensely self-clean, maintaining high passability and preventing stones from getting stuck. Note the "checkered" and fairly dense arrangement of the blocks. This increases the useful area of the tread, providing reduced and uniform pressure on the surface. This improves traction and handling, reduces rolling resistance, heat and vibrations.
Key features of Michelin Xtra Load Grip B E4
- a steel cord in a rubber sheath increases the frame's resistance to corrosion, increasing the tire's mileage;
- an optimized tread profile, a dense "checkered" arrangement of the elements of its pattern reduce wear, heat and rolling resistance, improve traction and handling, ensuring a higher level of operator comfort.
- a rubber compound with exceptional resistance to any mechanical stress.
