Description Michelin XLD D1 L4
The Michelin XLD D1 L4 special tire is designed for front-end loaders used on production sites with hard ground surfaces. It stands out for its excellent transverse and longitudinal grip, exceptional strength and reliability in heavy operating conditions.
The tread pattern is designed in an open design, representing two rows of massive blocks. The elements form elongated edges of a curved shape, which additionally increases the traction and grip properties on the ground. In the central part, the elements partially overlap each other, reducing rolling resistance and preventing rapid wear of the tread. The wide grooves between the blocks reduce the risk of stones and small ground particles getting stuck in the tread, improving passability and reducing the likelihood of tread damage. Another important feature is the use of a combination of a reinforced carcass with additional layers of cord and a special rubber compound with exceptional resistance to wear, chipping, cracks, and tears. This provides the tire with effective protection against aggressive mechanical impact, increasing its mileage in extremely heavy operating conditions.
Key features of Michelin XLD D1 L4
- reinforced carcass and optimized compound provide effective protection against damage, allowing the tire to be operated at speeds up to 14 km/h;
- open design of the tread pattern with long curved transverse edges improves traction and stability on ground cover;
- optimized profile of the tread, shape and large width of the grooves prevent overheating of the tire, reduce rolling resistance and wear
