Description Michelin Spraybib
The Michelin Spraybib agricultural tire is recommended for use in self-propelled and towed water and fertilizer sprayers. It is characterized by high load capacity, reduced impact on the topsoil, resistance to abrasive wear and punctures.
One of the key features of the tire is its high load capacity compared to most similar products from other brands. This is due to a whole complex of technical solutions. First of all, this is the design of the carcass. The area under the tread contains a 2-layer steel cord, which, in addition, balances the pressure in the contact patch, reducing the impact on the topsoil, and also expands the range of permissible speeds for the tire - up to 65 km/h. The sidewall structure contains a 3-layer "sandwich", in which the layers of steel cord are arranged unevenly, their number is maximum in the area adjacent directly to the wheel rim. This provides the sidewalls with sufficient carrying capacity, without depriving them of flexibility, which, on the one hand, increases the contact patch, and on the other hand, allows the tire to better withstand significant weight loads.
Key features of Michelin Spraybib
- the optimized sidewall design allows to reduce the internal pressure by a quarter without reducing the carrying capacity;
- the steel 2-layer cord under the tread reduces the pressure on the top soil layer, allows the tire to be operated at a speed of up to 65 km/h;
- a special rubber compound with high resistance to abrasive wear, punctures and cuts increases the tire's mileage
