Description Michelin Megaxbib
The Michelin Megaxbib agricultural tire is designed for combine harvesters and other harvesting equipment used in field conditions. It is characterized by increased load capacity and resistance to damage, improved traction properties on dirt surfaces, and smooth ride on uneven terrain.
One of the key features of the tire is its load capacity indicators, which are significantly higher than those of most similar tires from other brands. This is due to the use of a reinforced frame and sidewalls. Under the tread, there is a 2-layer metal cord, and the sidewalls are a 3-layer all-metal "sandwich". The largest number of cord layers is located in the area near the rim of the tire, which allows the sidewalls to remain elastic enough to provide a smooth ride on dirt roads. The tread pattern is made in an open design, representing two rows of dirt grips. The elements are turned at an angle of 45 degrees, which provides high traction, along with resistance to lateral slippage, directional stability, and reduced rolling resistance.
Main features of Michelin Megaxbib
- a frame reinforced with a metal cord provides high load capacity and resistance to damage;
- an optimized 3-layer steel cord in the sidewalls prevents damage to them and at the same time increases the smoothness of the ride;
- an open tread pattern with dirt grips turned at 45 degrees gives the tire excellent traction and stability, reducing rolling resistance
