The industrial tire Lande R4 was specially designed for tractor equipment used in industry. This model is designed for installation on the driving axle, and its size range includes about a dozen tire sizes with a mounting diameter of 24 and 28 inches.

Universal tread pattern

One of the distinctive features of this tire is the symmetrical directional tread pattern with an original V-shaped design. Thanks to it, the tire demonstrates excellent traction and coupling characteristics on the most diverse types of surfaces. Such abilities have appeared due to the equipping of the tread with numerous blocks that start in its central part and end in the shoulder areas. As a result, the tire's contact patch has a multitude of sharp coupling edges located at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement, as well as having a very large length. This made it possible to achieve excellent efficiency when moving on soft and loose soils.

At the same time, the Lande R4 tire has also shown itself to be excellent on hard surfaces. This was made possible by the minimal distance between the blocks in the central part of the tread. This solution made it possible to significantly reduce rolling resistance.

Resistance to punctures and cuts

When developing this tire, Chinese specialists paid special attention to protection against any aggressive influences. To do this, they had to adapt the tread pattern accordingly, equipping it with massive blocks of great height that extend to the tire's sidewalls. In addition, the large length of each block made it possible to significantly increase the tire's resistance to tears and cracks. Also, certain changes affected the composition of the rubber mixture, which, thanks to special components, became significantly better at resisting not only punctures and cuts but also abrasive wear. For the same purposes, a additional layer of nylon fibers was introduced into the carcass design by Chinese tire manufacturers, allowing to further increase the tire's service life.
