The name of the Galaxy Super Trencher tyre translates to "super trench digger", which fairly accurately reflects its key functional purpose. The model is designed for special equipment used in a wide range of earthworks in the municipal and construction sectors. It is intended for use on unstable and loose ground surfaces of various types.
Tread for maximum traction
The tread pattern belongs to the industrial class I-3 and is distinguished by massive blocks and open shoulder zones. Deep grooves facilitate the rapid removal of earth, sand, and small stones from the contact patch, allowing the tyre to maintain high grip properties even when operating on ground with high moisture content. The open design of the shoulder zones further improves self-cleaning and reduces the likelihood of wheelspin during heavy working operations.
Reinforced construction
Here, Super Sidewall and Rim Shield Protection technologies are used. They provide additional protection for the sidewalls and the wheel rim mounting area. The reinforced diagonal frame is resistant to high impact loads that occur during earthworks. The durable rubber compound has high resistance to wear and mechanical damage, allowing the tyre to maintain its characteristics even during intensive daily use.
Stability on unstable loose surfaces
The tyre has an optimized profile that promotes even pressure distribution in the contact patch, which, together with the reinforced sidewalls, minimizes the risk of losing stability when working with heavy attached equipment. Additionally, their increased stiffness, due to the prevention of tyre deformation under load, contributes to more efficient transmission of the power unit's traction effort. In combination with high wear resistance, this allows for a reduction in operating expenses and an increase in the tyre's lifespan.
Key features of the Galaxy Super Trencher:
- I-3 class tread with open shoulder zones provides high traction and effective self-cleaning on earth and construction surfaces;
- advanced manufacturing technologies increase the resistance of the sidewalls and wheel rim area to mechanical damage;
- reinforced diagonal frame and mechanically strong compound increase the service life during intensive use on earth surfaces;
- the tread profile reduces the risk of losing stability and slows down the wear process of the tread.
