Спецшины Galaxy Skiddo

The Galaxy Skiddo is a special tyre designed for skid-steer loaders. The model is intended for operation on soil, sand, loose gravel, and paved surfaces. Its features include large stepped tread lugs, open shoulder areas, and elements that assist in cleaning the tyre tread from dirt. A flatter profile of the tread promotes stable contact and resistance to wear.

Traction on loose surfaces

Large tread lugs form extended transverse edges necessary for transmitting tractive force. The stepped shape of the elements creates additional grip areas when operating on uneven surfaces. Deep gaps in the shoulder zones allow the edges of the tyre tread to interact more actively with loose soil. This is beneficial when loading material, moving around construction sites, and maneuvering with a load.

Self-cleaning between tread lugs

Grooves between the large tread elements widen towards the tyre edges, providing paths for dirt to escape. The tread pattern includes special protrusions that break up adhered soil and help clear the spaces between tread blocks. As a result, working edges are less likely to be covered by a solid layer of debris. This design is particularly advantageous when transitioning from dry surfaces to wet or muddy areas.

Support during skid steering

The tyre tread features a relatively flat cross-sectional profile and wide working surfaces of the lugs. This helps distribute the load across the contact patch and enhances resistance to wear. For a skid steer loader that changes direction by varying wheel speeds and wheel slip, this geometry is beneficial during frequent tight-radius turns.
