Agricultural tires Galaxy Muddy Buddy are one of the innovations of the leading global company in the category of off-road tires. This model is designed for forklifts that operate mainly on loose soils.
When developing the tread of this tire, the company's specialists took into account the harsh operating conditions, mainly off-road. Therefore, the tire is equipped with a tread with a V-shaped symmetrical directional pattern. The tread consists entirely of massive and high blocks made in a polygonal shape. Due to such a configuration of the blocks, as well as their location in the central part of the tread, a kind of longitudinal rib is formed. Thanks to this original solution, it was possible to significantly reduce the rolling resistance, which significantly expanded the possibilities of the tire on hard surfaces.
A characteristic feature of the V-shaped tread pattern is the powerful mud catchers located in its shoulder zones. The large distance between the mud catchers, as well as their height and massive size, allow for easy movement on unstable and loose soils. At the same time, the mud catchers are located at a slight angle relative to the direction of movement, which is why the tire demonstrates excellent traction and adhesion characteristics, especially in sand and mud. In addition, this pattern made it possible to achieve excellent self-cleaning characteristics of the tread.
As you know, the rubber compound is precisely the factor that determines all the main characteristics of the tire. The company's specialists, when creating the rubber compound for this model, sought to endow the tire with excellent characteristics. Thanks to the carefully selected composition of the rubber compound, the tread of the tire is distinguished by exceptional resistance to any aggressive influence, including punctures and cuts. In addition, due to the rubber compound, it was possible to achieve excellent resistance of the tread to wear, which significantly increased the service life of the tire.
Main features of the Galaxy Muddy Buddy model
- An off-road optimized V-shaped directional tread pattern design provides reliable and confident behavior in sand, mud, and other complex types of coverage;
- The tread blocks of the shoulder zones of the tread are located at an angle relative to the direction of movement, which made it possible to achieve excellent traction and adhesion characteristics on loose and unstable soils;
- Excellent self-cleaning characteristics of the tread due to the large distance between all its elements.
