The Galaxy EZ Rider R-4 model is a tire designed to equip forklifts and some tractor equipment. It gives the operator the comfort of a passenger car while maintaining the puncture-resistant strength needed for construction site or hangar work.
Comfort Technology
The tread structure features blocks with a special rounded shape. This engineering nuance allows the tire to softly "envelop" the micro-irregularities of asphalt or concrete. The rounded edges reduce the effect of digging in during turns and absorb vibrations from the power unit itself. The result is a reduction in driver fatigue and a smoother ride even when transporting fragile goods.
Mud Efficiency and Rim Protection
However, a smooth ride should not come at the expense of passability. The model implements the concept of "active self-cleaning". Between the tread elements, there are special mud-repelling elements and extended grooves. When the wheel rotates, the centrifugal force in combination with this geometry literally pushes the mud out of the tread. Therefore, it is always possible to maintain a clean profile for contact with the ground, ensuring confident traction on wet clay or loose sand. But the main pride of the model is the comprehensive protection of the chassis. Here, two key design solutions were applied:
- rim protection - a special structural layer in the sidewall area prevents damage to the disk when contacting curbs and prevents mud from entering the mounting seat;
- the sidewall of the tire has an increased thickness and an optimized rubber compound. This virtually eliminates the appearance of cuts when working in conditions of construction debris, reinforcement, or stones.
