Description Galaxy Excavator EX-1
Galaxy Excavator EX-1 — an industrial model with a classic crossed arrangement of cord threads, where the layers are laid at an optimal angle to each other. This architecture gives the carcass increased stiffness, which is critically important when working with a heavy bucket and frequent maneuvers on limited areas. Additionally, the diagonal structure has a natural ability to distribute point loads over a larger area, reducing the risk of local ruptures.
Choice for extreme conditions
The tire uses chamber technology. From an engineering point of view, such a design provides undeniable advantages in construction site conditions:
- damping of impact loads — the chamber works as an additional shock absorber when driving over large stones and curbs;
- repairability;
- sealability during deformation — even with strong bending of the sidewall, the chamber maintains pressure.
Self-cleaning without loss of traction
A wide profile with spaced-out blocks — the distance between the tread lugs is calculated so that large fractions are freely thrown out by the action of centrifugal force. This provides effective self-cleaning, which directly combats the loss of grip. The angle of the blocks is specially selected to minimize vibrations and uniform wear. At the same time, the shoulder area design is reinforced to withstand loads when in contact with sharp objects.
Composite rubber compound
A composite material is applied here, which is introduced into the composition of the tread rubber. The mixture includes high-molecular-weight polymers and reinforcing fillers that increase elasticity while maintaining elasticity. The result is resistance to chips and delamination and heat aging resistance.
Key features of the Galaxy Excavator EX-1:
- specialized tire for wheel excavators used on construction sites, quarries, and road works;
- chamber execution — increased repairability and shock absorption;
- diagonal carcass — stiffness and load distribution;
- resistance to cuts, chips, and delamination thanks to the composite rubber compound.
