The BKT TR-459 cargo tire has a rather specific application area, being designed for tractor equipment used in various industries. This model is characterized by excellent traction properties on earth and sand surfaces, excellent reliability and a very long service life.

V-shaped tread pattern

One of the characteristic features of this model is the symmetrical directional tread pattern, which has an aggressive V-shaped design without longitudinally arranged elements. They are very powerful lugs, arranged in a checkerboard pattern.

This design provides excellent traction-slip properties in the longitudinal direction, due to the presence of a large number of very long engagement edges. In addition, it is impossible not to note the reduced rolling resistance, which is achieved due to the small distance between the blocks in the central part of the tread.

Excellent cross-country ability

In contrast to the central part, in the shoulder areas, the tread blocks are spaced at a significant distance from each other. This is enough for the tread to perfectly self-clean from the ground particles that get into it. In combination with the large height of the tread blocks, this provides the tire with excellent cross-country ability on sandy and earthy soils.

Wear-resistant rubber compound

As mentioned earlier, this model is favorably distinguished by excellent reliability. To a large extent, it is provided by the tread rubber compound, which includes components of the new generation. With their help, the tire was able to give excellent resistance to abrasive wear, as well as to punctures and cuts, which significantly increases the reliability of operation throughout the entire service life.
