Спецшины BKT Ridemax Frost IND

BKT Ridemax Frost IND — a specialized winter radial tire for tractors used in transportation and municipal operations. The model is designed for use in sub-zero temperatures, on snow-covered and icy roads, where equipment must maintain traction, handling, and stability throughout long working shifts.

The specially developed cold-resistant rubber compound remains flexible and elastic in freezing conditions. This helps maintain grip and reduce slippage on ice during winter operations.

Large tread blocks are cut with numerous wavy sipes. Their edges form additional micro-edges that enhance grip on snow and ice. This siping technology improves traction on slippery surfaces and reduces the risk of skidding, allowing for more confident maneuvering during winter transport and snow removal tasks.

The tread pattern utilizes the snow-on-snow traction principle: some snow is retained within the tread, enhancing grip on snowy surfaces. At the same time, wide grooves effectively evacuate excess snow and slush from the contact patch. This helps keep the tread self-cleaning and maintains consistent road contact.

The rubber compound contains natural rubber, special additives, and silica. These components protect the rubber from the damaging effects of cold, UV radiation, and ozone, while also improving resistance to cuts and tears without compromising necessary flexibility. As a result, the compound retains its performance properties longer under harsh winter conditions.

The reinforced construction and additional sidewall protection help resist punctures and damage from ice, debris, and road irregularities. This reduces the risk of tire damage on challenging winter routes. Optimized rolling resistance also helps reduce energy losses and fuel consumption.

The Ridemax Frost IND design reduces vibration transmission from rough winter surfaces. Smoother ride quality lowers operator fatigue and enhances comfort during extended working shifts.
