Description BKT Grip Star
BKT Grip Star — an agricultural and industrial tire designed for telehandlers. The model is intended for loading operations, including on muddy terrain where strong traction and the ability of the tread to self-clean from adhering soil are essential. The tire features a diagonal construction.
The tread pattern consists of long, sloped traction bars that extend from the shoulder areas toward the center of the tread and are staggered relative to each other. The protruding edges form working edges that provide grip on the ground as the loader moves.
Wide open gaps between the traction bars allow soil to be expelled from the tread area. This tread design promotes self-cleaning, helping to keep the working edges exposed when continuously driving through wet and contaminated sections. Traction and self-cleaning capability are among the key performance features of this model, as declared by BKT.
