BKT Earthmax SR 53 — a full steel radial OTR tyre designed for loaders, bulldozers, and low-profile dump trucks (LPDT). The model is engineered for loading, dozing, and scraping operations on heavy rocky surfaces, including quarries, underground mining sites, and scrap metal processing areas.
The deep L-5 class tread consists of very large, rigid blocks. This design enhances the service life of the tread area and helps maintain traction and stability in harsh, rocky conditions. For equipment owners, this means a lower risk of premature tyre replacement due to abrasive wear.
Non-directional tread lugs create wide supporting areas and help distribute load evenly across the surface. This configuration ensures strong traction during material loading, pushing, and heavy hauling. At the same time, the robust tread pattern helps the machine maintain stability on hard, uneven terrain.
Wide, deep gaps between the blocks are maintained, and the shoulder area features a square profile. The special lug configuration assists in ejecting stones and industrial debris from the tread. Grooves are less prone to clogging, working tread edges remain in contact with the ground, and the risk of rubber damage from trapped debris is reduced.
The cut-resistant rubber compound enhances protection against punctures and abrasive wear. In rocky environments, it helps the tyre better withstand contact with gravel, rock fragments, and sharp objects. For equipment owners, this translates into a lower risk of damage and unplanned downtime.
The Earthmax SR 53 rubber compound helps dissipate heat generated during demanding work cycles. According to BKT, this contributes to extended tyre life under prolonged operating loads.
