Tubeless tire Belshina Bel-179m with a diagonal cord structure is specifically designed for grain harvesters, including models KZS-1218 and "DON". The key focus of the engineering development is to achieve an optimal balance between high cross-country ability, reliability in various field conditions, and minimizing the impact on the fertile layer.
The multilayered cross cord made of high-strength textile threads provides increased sidewall strength and resistance to cuts and lateral loads characteristic of work on rough terrain and inclined areas.
A special recipe based on modified rubbers is used here, which provides increased elasticity and wear resistance of the tread. This reduces the risk of cracking when in contact with aggressive chemicals, as well as during temperature fluctuations.
The specially calculated shape, size, and arrangement of the lugs (blocks) on the tread are aimed at:
- reducing the specific pressure on the soil due to the expanded contact area;
- minimizing soil deformation and compaction, which helps preserve its structure and fertility;
- effective self-cleaning of the projector from wet soil and plant residues to maintain stable traction.
The tubeless design allows for increased operational safety due to the lower risk of sudden depressurization in the event of a puncture. It simplifies the mounting/dismounting process and reduces the overall weight of the wheel, contributing to the fuel efficiency of the unit.
