Avtoros S-Trim LT – a tyre product created in the harsh Russian realities — at the Altai tyre plant according to the original designs of the company "Avtoros". The model is designed for one purpose: to provide movement where conventional tyres are powerless.

Floating and off-road capability

The main engineering feature of the model is its operation at ultra-low pressure. With a size of 49x23.5-21 LT and a large volume, it can create a ground pressure of only 0.25 kg/cm?. This means that the tyre pressure is equivalent to the pressure of a human foot. Such an approach radically changes the interaction with the supporting surface. Instead of pushing through the weak-bearing ground, the tyre "lies" on it, distributing the mass of the vehicle over the maximum possible area. This effect gives two key advantages. Firstly, it preserves the soil cover — a critical factor for tundra and marshy areas. Secondly, with the correct selection of vehicle mass, it provides positive buoyancy on water surfaces.

Multi-layering against deformation

The design is built on a diagonal frame. This is a classic engineering solution for low-pressure tyres, where resistance to deformation is critical. Depending on the modification, the frame can have 2 or 4 layers of cord. The four-layer version is a reinforced design, calculated for heavy all-terrain vehicles with a mass of up to 2.5 tons. The crosswise arrangement of the threads allows the tyre to maintain its profile geometry even under extreme lateral loads.

Directional tread pattern

The tread pattern is a well-thought-out directional scheme. The medium-sized lugs have a significant height and are separated by wide grooves, which work as a drainage system. Such geometry solves two problems:

- the grooves effectively remove dirt, snow, and plant residues, preventing the working area from becoming clogged;
- the lugs, oriented at an angle to the direction of rotation, provide confident "gripping" into the ground when moving in a rut, on inclines, and under lateral loads.

All-season capability

The rubber compound is based on a high content of natural rubber with the addition of special stabilizing additives. Such a composition provides operability in an extreme temperature range. This means that the tyre retains its elasticity even in the conditions of the Arctic tundra. The additives in the composition perform a passive protection function: they prevent delamination when working at ultra-low pressure, protect the rubber from the destructive effect of ultraviolet radiation.
