Description Advance GLR09
Advance GLR09 — a tyre for special equipment operating on mixed and challenging surfaces. The model combines a large-block rock tread pattern with a reinforced carcass and sidewall construction. Primary focus is on grip, resistance to mechanical damage, and maintaining service life when in contact with abrasive ground.
Large blocks of the rock tread pattern
The tyre tread consists of massive elements with wide working surfaces. Elongated blocks are positioned in the centre, while individual shoulder traction lugs are placed at the edges. This configuration ensures strong support on firm terrain while preserving lateral edges for transmitting traction. The jagged contours of the elements add cutting edges in multiple directions, helping maintain grip during manoeuvring.
Carcass and sidewall protection
The GLR09 design includes a reinforced carcass and protected sidewalls. These enhance resistance to punctures and damage caused by contact with surface irregularities and foreign objects. For machinery operating on uneven terrain, this helps reduce the risk of downtime due to mechanical tyre damage.
Resistance to abrasive wear
The tyre tread's rubber compound is designed to resist wear. This is supported by the contact patch shape, optimised by the manufacturer to extend tyre life. Large tread blocks distribute load across an enlarged supporting surface, while the spaces between them maintain the tread pattern's relief for grip. This enables a combination of traction performance with long service life on regular routes.
