Motorcycle tyres Wanmao WSX-240

Wanmao WSX-240 — a front motorcycle tyre with a pronounced off-road tread pattern designed for dirt routes and rough terrain. High, separated lugs form numerous working edges that can maintain grip on loose and uneven surfaces.

Paired rectangular blocks with wide transverse edges are positioned in the center of the tread. These edges help maintain longitudinal grip during braking on loose soil.

Intermediate lugs have an angular shape and are staggered relative to the central rows. This layout distributes working edges across the tread width and helps maintain grip when changing direction.

Wide open gaps are left between the block rows. They provide space for mud and loose soil to be expelled as the wheel rotates. This design helps clear the tread pattern of accumulated debris, keeping the working edges exposed.

Large shoulder lugs extend to the edges of the tread and continue onto its rounded sections. As the motorcycle leans, these shoulder blocks come into contact with the ground, adding working edges at the sides of the contact patch. This geometry helps maintain lateral grip on uneven terrain.

Key features of the Wanmao WSX-240

- transverse edges of the central blocks help maintain longitudinal grip when braking on soil;
- angular intermediate elements help maintain grip when changing direction;
- open gaps provide space for expelling mud and loose soil;
- shoulder lugs add working edges at the sides of the contact patch;
- block distribution across the tread width creates a sequence of working edges from the center to the shoulders.
