The Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V2 SP motorcycle tire is designed for superbikes. The model is characterized by the effectiveness of racing tires with the legal possibility of using it on ordinary roads.
The tire widely uses technologies previously tested in the WSBK championship. A significant part of them fell on the design and materials of the carcass. This component allows the tire to "keep its shape" and maintain elasticity in certain conditions for a comfortable ride and ease of handling. The tread area of the tire contains long longitudinal grooves. They not only improve performance on wet pavement but also reduce the rate of wear. The tread is made of two compounds. The edge zones are made of an elastic rubber mixture that enhances grip when the motorcycle is tilted, and the central part has high stiffness, improving stability and stability during straight-line movement.
