The Petrosina S-109 motorcycle tire is designed for use in bikes and mopeds that are operated predominantly on asphalt roads. In such conditions, it stands out for its reliability of coupling properties, directional stability, and accuracy of control when moving at high speeds.
The tread pattern is made in a "road" design with densely spaced elements. In combination with the special shape of the tire profile, this significantly increases the contact patch, improving traction on dry pavement. The multidirectionality of the walls of the numerous blocks allows it to be preserved in rainy conditions. Exactly in the middle of the tread, there is a continuous longitudinal rib. It increases directional stability and control accuracy during straight-line movement, reducing rolling resistance and preventing rapid wear of the tire's tread.
