The Mitas Terraforce-R motorcycle tire is installed on two-wheeled vehicles of the "enduro" and "trail" classes. It has limited performance on dirt roads, demonstrating maximum efficiency on asphalt roads.
The tread has a large number of drainage grooves, which are characterized by an increased width and depth. On the one hand, this increases resistance to aquaplaning, and on the other hand, the efficiency of the tire on dirt roads. For such conditions, special protrusions are provided at the bottom of the grooves that push out stones that have gotten stuck in the tread. The curved shape and inclination of the grooves improve directional stability, traction, and braking efficiency.
Main features:
- designed for asphalt roads and dirt roads in a ratio of 90/10;
- increased size and number of drainage grooves improve stability on wet surfaces and traction on dirt roads;
- protrusions on the bottom of the grooves prevent stones from getting stuck;
- the optimized tread profile provides constant dimensions and shape of the contact patch over a wide range of motorcycle lean angles.
