The Mitas SW-07 motorcycle tire is designed for bikes used in speedway racing. This model is distinguished by characteristics that fully comply with FIM rules, making it possible to use the tire in all races and championships held under the auspices of this federation.
This model is a tubeless tire with two orange stripes on one side of the tread. Its pattern consists of separate rectangular blocks arranged in such a way that when moving, they form virtually continuous longitudinal and transverse edges. In addition to the blocks, the tread contains a large number of sipes. In the central part, straight cuts are used, which improve traction and braking properties on wet surfaces. In the shoulder zones, there are sipes with curved edges, which, due to their shape, not only increase grip in turns but also provide greater stability. It is worth noting the special structure and profile of the sidewalls, which add stiffness to them. This also improves the grip properties and accuracy of handling in turns.
