The Mitas MC-32 motorcycle tire is installed on various scooter equipment. It is characterized by improved traction on slippery surfaces, including winter ones, as well as reliability and high mileage.
The tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of numerous lamellas. The wavy cuts are located transversely, which improves the longitudinal traction properties on wet pavement, compacted snow, and ice. The drainage grooves have been widened, allowing them to effectively remove not only water but also its heavy mixture with snow and road dirt from the contact patch. The long and curved edges formed in this process provide longitudinal and transverse stability on snowy surfaces. The tread is made from a special rubber compound. The increased content of silicon dioxide and the presence of functional polymers in the composition provide the compound with elasticity at negative temperatures, resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears.
Main features:
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning due to the increased size of the water-dispelling grooves;
- wavy lamellas enhance longitudinal traction on slippery winter surfaces;
- the V-shaped arrangement of the traction edges increases stability on snow.
