The Mitas MC-16 motorcycle tire is designed for scooters with engines up to 50 cubic centimeters. It is adapted for use in specific urban conditions. It is characterized by excellent maneuverability, traction, and deceleration intensity on wet pavement, and high rideability.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a small angle of inclination of the water drainage grooves. The long transverse edges formed in this way allow for high-intensity acceleration and deceleration, especially on wet pavement. The optimized profile of the tread part of the tread increases the contact patch, ensures even pressure on the road surface, and also retains these properties even at large angles of inclination of the scooter. This significantly simplifies the control process, reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread.
Key features:
- a small angle of inclination of the water drainage grooves increases traction and deceleration intensity on wet pavement;
- an increased contact patch even at large angles of inclination;
- an optimized tread pattern and tread profile reduce wear and fuel consumption.
