In creating this model, the company used all its vast experience in tire production and the best technologies. To prevent defective products from reaching the consumer, after the final stage of production, the tire undergoes thorough electronic and visual inspection.

Latest generation 2CT technology

This technology (two-component) provides the tire with two different hardness zones of rubber. This has made it possible to achieve an increased contact patch in any motorcycle position. The shoulder area has softer rubber, which provides excellent grip when cornering. The central part is made of harder rubber, which increases directional stability and makes handling more precise.

Sporty tread pattern design

To improve the speed characteristics of the Michelin Power One, a sporty tread pattern design was used. The central part has two long channels that provide quick water drainage. For similar purposes, the lateral zone has smaller channels. Together, they provide excellent self-cleaning and prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning. To improve grip during maneuvers, a special sharp edge is used in the shoulder area.

Reinforced carcass

If the tire is often operated at high speeds, there is a risk of tears and damage due to constant increased loads. To prevent this, a reinforced carcass was used in this model. A durable cord and a special steel strip were used in its creation. This allows it to withstand increased loads well and reliably protect the tire from possible damage. The new carcass also made it possible to achieve uniform pressure distribution over the entire surface of the tire.
