The Michelin City Grip Winter motorcycle tire is installed on scooters and mopeds. It belongs to a small category of tires designed for urban use in winter conditions. It is distinguished by improved traction properties and stability on snowy and wet roads.
The tread pattern of the tire features an original V-shaped design with an increased number of traction edges. They are formed by numerous small blocks arranged in pairs. As a result, very long edges are formed in the contact patch, inclined at a small angle. This solution achieves excellent longitudinal traction properties on snowy roads. Another feature is the use of cross-shaped grooves and several types of lamellas - three-dimensional and so-called "pumps". This set of elements provides the tire with confident behavior on wet and icy roads.
