The Michelin Anakee Wild motorcycle tire, like other models in this line, is designed for large touring "enduro" bikes. The key difference from them is its much better suitability for use on unpaved roads. At the same time, it is worth noting that it is produced in one size: 120/70 R19 for the front wheel and 170/60 R17 for the rear. This is what determines the scope of application of this model — BMW R 1200 GS and competitors of the "goose".

The French manufacturer positions this tire as a model equally well suited for use on highways and off-road. Performance on asphalt is achieved by the significant width of the tread and the low profile of the tire, and off-road — by the tread design with numerous blocks spaced at a great distance from each other.
Special rubber compound
Some of the technologies used in the development of the tire were previously used by the French manufacturer in rally raids, in which it has been participating for decades. With the help of such solutions, in particular, the rubber compound of the tread was created. It contains special polymers that provide the compound with exceptional strength and stretch resistance at the molecular level. This allows the tread to maintain its integrity even under significant mechanical stress, preventing cracks and punctures in the most unfavorable conditions, including strong heating.
