The Metzeler Sportec Street motorcycle tire is designed for sports and lightweight versions of two-wheeled vehicles. It is characterized by excellent traction properties and a long service life, increasing the accuracy of handling and making it easier to control the trajectory of movement.
The tread profile of the tire is optimized in the same way as that of sports tires for road racing. This increases the contact patch and maintains its shape and size when the motorcycle is tilted. At the same time, changing direction of movement occurs much faster with very precise control over the trajectory. The tread is made from a rubber compound with a balanced ratio of silica and technical carbon content. As a result, the traction properties are ensured at a chemical level with stability over a very wide temperature range.
