Description Metzeler Sportec Klassik
The main "target audience" of the Metzeler Sportec Klassik motorcycle tire is the owners of "classic" sports bikes produced in the 70-90s of the last century. Unlike the tires of those years, this model, with a similar appearance, has much better performance characteristics. This is due to the use of technologies and materials in its design that are used in the Sportec line of motorcycle tires, presented by the German manufacturer very recently.
One of such solutions is the design of the tread pattern. It contains many drainage grooves. Located in groups, they differ in curved shape, large volume and are directed at a significant angle. These features provide fast and efficient drying of the contact patch at any angle of the motorcycle. Here it is worth noting the rubber compound, which, due to the high content of silicon dioxide, provides the tire with reliable grip on wet roads.
Under the tread is a reinforced carcass. It is designed so that the tire does not change its shape under the influence of even significant loads. The presence of such a rigid "substrate" gives it very stable behavior at high speed. At the same time, the elastic tread provides softness and comfort on the go.
