The Metzeler Racetec RR Rain motorcycle tire is designed for sportbikes. It represents a special variant of the same-name model, differing from it with improved traction properties on wet surfaces.

The tread part of the tire features a large number of drainage grooves and their direction against the direction of movement. This minimizes the risk of aquaplaning even at high speeds. The long edges formed during this process provide excellent traction and directional stability. The tread is made from a rubber compound based on natural rubber and silicon-containing components. As a result, the traction properties on wet surfaces are provided at a chemical level.
