The Metzeler Racetec RR K1 motorcycle tire is installed on sports and hyper bikes. This version is designed for operation on road surfaces with low surface temperatures.

It is offered in a version for the front and rear wheels. In the first case, it provides predictable handling and reliable traction at aggressive motorcycle lean angles. The rear tire in the K1 version is distinguished by its effectiveness at temperatures below 25-30 degrees Celsius. Another of its distinguishing features is the use of two compounds in the tread part of the protector. The strip in its central part has increased thermal conductivity. When moving in a straight line, it heats up and redistributes heat to the shoulder areas. This additionally enhances traction in turns, allowing you to accelerate out of them much earlier.
