The Metzeler Karoo 4 motorcycle tire is designed for off-road touring bikes with medium and large displacement engines. It features improved traction, smoothness, and increased service life compared to the previous model.
This model is offered in two versions - for the front and rear wheels. In addition to the tread width, they differ in the rubber compound. For the rear wheel, two types of compounds are used. In the shoulder areas, the silica content is increased by up to 20%. This improves traction in turns. The key difference from the previous model is the changed tread pattern. This tire has a significantly increased contact patch, which has improved traction, stability at high speeds and maneuverability, as well as increased handling precision.
