The German motorcycle tire Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara is addressed to those motorcycle owners who are not averse to driving on rough terrain, but at the same time are not ready to give up comfort when moving on ordinary roads. In fact, the universality of this tire's application is reflected in its name, since the Sahara Desert is famous not only for its endless sands, but also for its vast rocky and muddy areas.
This model is released in three sizes, for both the front and rear axles - 90/90-21M/C54HTL, 90/90-21M/C54S, 90/90-21M/C54T TL and 120/90-17M/C64S, 130/80-17M/C65S, 130/80-17M/C 65T TL, respectively. It is worth noting the high profile of the tires, which provides a wonderful softness of the ride when driving on rough terrain.
Both the front and rear tires are equipped with an aggressive V-shaped tread, which has high performance on unstable types of coverage. The basis of the Metzeler Enduro 3 Sahara design is massive tread blocks, located at a fairly sharp angle relative to the direction of movement. This design solution allows for excellent acceleration and braking efficiency, especially on loose soils.
It is also worth noting the large distance between the blocks, which implies significant self-cleaning capabilities of the tread. These capabilities are further enhanced by the V-shaped tread used by German tire manufacturers, in which dirt and sand leave the contact patch in the direction opposite to the movement. In combination with the large tread depth and massive size of the tread blocks, this provides excellent passability on various types of surfaces.
