The Heidenau K76 Dual Sport motorcycle tire is designed for installation on the steering and driving axles of enduro class motorcycles. The key feature of this model is its excellent adaptability to both paved roads and light off-road conditions. At the same time, the high level of comfort allows you to easily overcome significant distances. Such versatility was achieved through a combination of a rubber mixture with a carefully selected composition and a tread pattern with numerous blocks.
This model is offered by the manufacturer in two versions - for the steering and driving axle. They differ only in size - the tire for the front wheel is significantly narrower. In all other respects, everything is completely identical. This decision was dictated by the desire to provide a neutral handling character and transparent feedback, which significantly simplifies the process of managing the motorcycle.
As mentioned earlier, the Heidenau K76 tire differs in excellent efficiency on various types of coverage. These capabilities were largely due to the presence of a large number of separate blocks on its tread. These blocks differ not only in massive sizes but also in their trapezoidal shape with smoothed corners. Such corners allowed, without compromising other characteristics, to significantly reduce the noise level when moving on the highway.
A large number of massive blocks form a multitude of very long engagement edges, thanks to which the tire allows you to confidently overcome even sufficiently complex sections of rough terrain. At the same time, a fairly large distance between the blocks allows the tread to be effectively cleaned of various foreign particles.
