The Heidenau K44 Vintage Motorcycle tire stands out from the rest of the tire products released by this German tire manufacturer with a history of over 60 years. The key feature of this model is its purpose. The fact is that it is designed for both classic motorcycles released in the second half of the last century and modern bikes.
At the same time, the manufacturer declares its "all-weather" capability, i.e. this tire allows you to move safely even in the most unfavorable situations. This is largely due to the tread, which is distinguished not only by an interesting pattern but also by a profile of changing steepness. I.e. the tire is able to maintain the contact patch area, both when moving in a straight line and when passing turns. The structure of the shoulder zones of the tread hints at this unequivocally, which are characterized by very high structural rigidity.
The central part of the Heidenau K44 motorcycle tire has a more flat profile, which made it possible to significantly increase the contact patch and also give evenness to the distribution of external load. The increased contact patch has significantly improved the tire's grip, and the even distribution of the load has reduced the likelihood of uneven wear, which has a negative impact on the service life, to a minimum.
In the same tread part, there are two longitudinal ribs, each of which represents separate rows of blocks. Their main feature is a double structure, i.e. each block consists of two unequal parts. The increased number of tread blocks, spaced at a very small distance from each other, contributes to an increase in the contact patch area. At the same time, their "mirror" arrangement in relation to each other helps to reduce resonant noises and vibrations.
