Beneath it lies a layer with a softer compound. This design has allowed for improved ride comfort and reduced warm-up time to reach operating temperatures. The presence of silicon dioxide has also positively affected traction properties on dry asphalt.

The tire is released in two main sizes for the front and rear axles. The tread layer features symmetrical grooves that help maintain traction during high-speed driving. They also participate in the removal of excess heat and moisture.
