Description Dunlop D214
The Dunlop D214 motorcycle tire is installed on sportbikes. It is designed for use in urban conditions. It is distinguished by its sporty handling, reliable control over traction and braking effort, and good grip properties on wet surfaces.
The tire's tread is made from a rubber compound based on natural rubber and "silica". This combination increases the tire's grip on cold wet surfaces, as well as its resistance to abrasive wear and mechanical damage. The tread contains a large number of drainage grooves. The elements are directed against the direction of motion and have a curved shape, which further increases the intensity of water diversion from the contact patch.
Main features of Dunlop D214
- increased contact patch due to low sidewalls and optimized tire profile shape;
- numerous drainage grooves directed against the direction of motion, preventing aquaplaning;
- rubber compound based on natural rubber and "silica" provides reliable grip on wet surfaces.
